Defibrillator Donation in the Village of Sklivaniton, Ioannina
Today, Saturday, December 16, 2023, we had the pleasure of participating in a beautiful celebration for the installation of the first defibrillator in the village of Sklivaniton, Ioannina. The Philips HS1 defibrillator was a generous donation from three companies, including SANTAIR, represented by the Store Manager of Welcare Ioannina, Ms. Thalia Pappa.
We hope that this initiative will inspire other businesses to undertake similar efforts for the common good. A defibrillator signifies safety and protection for citizens in emergencies, and it is crucial to ensure accessibility for as many people as possible.
In critical situations like cardiac arrest, it aids in restoring normal heart rhythm, allowing the safe transfer of the patient to the hospital. The Philips HS1 defibrillator installed at a central point in the village provides Greek instructions to guide users, even without training, in cardiorespiratory resuscitation.
