SANTAIR S.A. considers privacy, protection of personal data and safety of users and visitors to our webpages very important. Santair is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us.

The present notification of the Protection of Personal Data covers and refers to the conditions for collecting and processing your personal data by Santair while visiting and using the websites “www.santair.gr”, “apinidistis.santair.gr”, “apinidotis.santair.gr” and airpurifier.santair.gr”. Santair is the owner, creator and beneficiary of all the above websites (all hereinafter referred to as “Website”) and the person responsible.

 

Processing Data that could come from you.

The Website complies to the General Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons from processing personal data and from the free circulation of such data (“General Data Protection Regulation/GDPR”), as well as with the current relevant Greek legislation.

The management and protection of the personal data of visitors/users of the Website are subject to the terms of the present notification as well as to the national and EU legislation on the protection of individuals from personal data processing, as the case may be.

Any relevant future regulation shall be the subject of this notification. In any case, Santair retains the right to change private policy on personal data, in accordance with the applicable relevant legal framework. As a result, the present private policy on personal data can be revised and updated at any time without prior notice. Website users are requested to check at regular intervals the terms of the private policy for any changes, as the continuous use of the Website means that they accept all possible changes.

In case the user/visitor does not consent to the processing of their personal data in this way, they are requested to refrain from using the Website.

 

Personal Data Processing Environment

Santair collects personal data of Website users/visitors only when the latter voluntarily provide it in the contact form or by sending an e-mail to [email protected], in order to communicate with the visitor/user and deal with the request the visitor/user has entered into the contact and expression of interest form, in accordance to Article 6, paragraph 1, items a) and f) of GDPR. Personal data includes the details that can be used for identifying a person or communicating with them, as well as other details related to that person.

The user/visitor ensures that the personal data provided is correct and accurate and is committed to notifying Santair of any change or amendment to it. Any loss or damage caused to Santair or any other third party due to wrong, inaccurate or incomplete information entered into the contact form or e-mail shall be under the exclusive responsibility of the user/visitor.

The user/visitor may not enter confidential or sensitive information, such as racial or national origin, ideology or political, religious or philosophical beliefs, information about their physical or mental condition, biometrics or genetic traits, sexual orientation, information about their criminal record, the social security number or identification card number, etc.

Santair may process a part or all of the data sent by users/visitors for statistical purposes or in order to improve the services and information provided, in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, item f of GDPR.

Santair acknowledges the importance of protecting children’s personal data, especially online. It should be noted that the Website is neither intentionally made nor is it intended for children under 15 years old. We have a policy that we never collect or knowingly maintain data related to any persons under 15 years old.

 

Your Rights

With regard to processing your personal data, you have the following rights as long as the relevant legal requirements are met:

Access right: you have the right to be informed, following a request and free of charge, in accordance with Article 15, paragraph 1 of GDPR, about your saved personal data.

Right of correction: you have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal data of yours. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you have the right to claim that any missing data be filled in, even by means of a supplementary statement.

Right of deletion: you have the right to request that your personal data saved by us, in accordance with Article 17 of GDPR, be deleted, unless the retained data is necessary for the freedom of expression, the freedom of information, the respect of legal obligation, for reasons relating to public interest, for giving rise to claims or for defence against them or for exercising legal rights.

Right to restriction of processing your data, in accordance with Article 18 of GDPR,

Right to data portability: you have the right, in accordance with Article 20 of GPDR, to be provided with a copy of the data you have provided to us, which shall be sent to you or to a third party in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. In case you request  that the data be directly sent to another data processor, this shall be done only if it is technically feasible.

Right of opposition: in case your personal data is processed based on lawful interests, in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, item f) of GPDR, you have the right to oppose the processing at any time, in accordance to Article 21 of GPDR.

When we use data for a purpose that requires the consent of the user, in accordance with the law, we will always ask for the user’s written consent. The consent is granted once and can be revoked at any time with future effect. For the purposes of revoking their consent or making an objection, the visitor/user can contact Santair’s Data Protection Officer, as per above.

You have the right to lodge a complaint to the Personal Data Protection Authority (address: 1-3 Kifissias Ave., PC 11523, Athens, Tel. No.: +30 210 6475600) in case you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the current national and regulatory framework for the protection of personal data.

Duration of Storage and Normal Erasure of Personal Data

We process and save your personal data only for as long as it is necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose for which it is saved or for as long as we have to do so in accordance to an existing legal or contractual obligation. Once the purpose ceases to exist or is fulfilled, your personal data shall be deleted or be limited, in accordance with GPDR and the relevant national legislation.

 

Transfer of personal data to third parties

Santair shall not make available for selling, shall not transfer or publicize to third parties that are not related to Santair any personal data of visitors/users of the Website, without the consent of the visitor/user, with the exception of the application of the relevant legal dictations and only to the relevant authorities.

 

Collection of Data and General Information (log files)

Santair can collect identifiers of Website users through the relevant technologies, such as cookies and/or tracking Internet Protocol (IP) addresses.

The IP (IP address – Internet Protocol address) is a unique number used by devices so that they can be identified and communicate with each other in a computer network using the Internet Protocol Standard. Therefore, the IP address is a number assigned to your computer every time you access the Internet. It enables computers and servers to be identified and communicate with each other. IP addresses of visitors are possibly recorded for security reasons of information and system diagnostics technology. This data can also be used in aggregate form so that the tendencies and the performance of the Website can be analyzed.

Cookies are small text files saved in the hard disc of the visitor/user that have no information of documents or files of the computer. They are used for helping the access of the visitor/user with regard to the use of specific services and/or pages of the Website for statistical reasons and for specifying useful or popular areas.
