Percutaneous Insertion Kit

The insertion kit from Maquet Cardiopulmonary comprises various components which permit access to the vessel. There is one insertion kit available for the arterial cannula (PIK 100) and one for the venous cannula (PIK 150).

Additional vessel dilators in other sizes are available separately.

The device must be used only by trained physicians. The physician must be experienced in vessel cannulation procedures and the proper handling of complications.

The device is intended to be used in a clinical environment under aseptic conditions.

The device can be used for all patients with appropriate vessel sizes irrespective of age, body weight and gender.
