Getinge training program on Anethesia and Ventilation machines
Mr. Manolis Filinis, Head of Business Unit at Santair, participated at the educational/informative program of Getinge AB in Stockholm. The program showcased GETINGE’s products and solutions for patient care in Intensive Care Units and Operating Rooms.
Specifically, the following were presented:
- The family of anesthesia machines FLOW, with the special ACG technology that allows dynamic administration of anesthesia, achieving, according to the study, a reduction in volatile anesthetics up to 58% (equivalent to €6,000 per machine annually).
- Intensive Care Ventilators SERVO and the NAVA (Neurally Adjusted Ventilatory Assist) software for real-time monitoring and measurement of the diaphragm’s electrical activity and the administration of proportional respiratory support based on the diaphragm’s activity received.
