Onassio Center – 6th ECMO Seminar
Santair participated in the 6th ECMO Seminar on: “Basic Principles of Membrane Oxygenation – ECMO”, which was organized by the Onassio Cardiac Surgery Center on July 14 & 15, 2023.
The Seminar, offered the basic necessary theoretical and practical knowledge about ECMO and its applications, was attended by doctors from Intensive Care, the Emergency Department, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Emergency Medicine, Thoracic Surgery and Cardiac Surgery, as well as health scientists related to the application of ECMO (Nurses, Extracorporeal Specialists, Physiotherapists).
All participants had the opportunity to be introduced to the Getinge Cardiohelp System (ECMO) portable system, for heart-lung support, suitable for all medical cases that require extracorporeal circulation for cardiopulmonary support.
