Participation in the ATHENA 2023 International Conference
Our company had the honor of participating in the ATHENA 2023 International Conference (Caravel 21-14/11/2023), where Dr. Andreas Calatzis, Professor at the University of Western Attica, Department of Biomedical Engineering, delivered an exceptionally interesting and significant speech. Dr. Calatzis discussed the pathophysiology of fibrinolytic resistance in sepsis, highlighting key diagnostic elements using thromboelastometry (ClotPro), as well as therapeutic approaches for the improved management of patients with sepsis.
Additionally, our company supported the Satellite Symposium organized by SANTAIR SA on the theme “Innovation in Sepsis Management,” where Dr. Calatzis presented his important findings. The Chairman of the Satellite Symposium, Mr. Georgios Dimopoulos, also provided his scientific perspective as Professor of Pulmonology-Intensive Care.
