Viscoelastometry system ClotPro

ClotPro analyzer is a modern, new generation viscoelastometry system. Measurement principle used in ClotPro is Elastic Motion Thromboelastography. The cup is rotated using an elastic element, and the Pin is stationary during the measurement. Capacitive detection of the rotation angle of the test system is recorded.

Description

APPLICATIONS

ClotPro analyzer supports the management of acute blood coagulation disorders to facilitate the selection of the most appropriate therapy and stop bleeding.
ClotPro enables the detection and assessment of:

  • Coagulation factor deficiencies
  • Low levels of fibrinogen
  • Platelet contribution in whole blood coagulation
  • Heparin and DOACs effects (Dabigatran, edoxaban, rivaroxaban…)
  • Monitoring of fibrinolysis and anti-fibrinolytic drugs

The benefits of viscoelastic coagulation monitoring have been described in many fields of surgery and intensive care: Cardiac and vascular surgery, organ transplantation, trauma, obstetrics, orthopedic surgery and intensive care.

Why ClotPro

  • Ease of use (Intuitive user interface, remote viewing of test results, active tip technology eliminates the need for reagent handling)
  • Flexibility (6 independent measurement channels, ανεξάρτητα κανάλια μέτρησης, Active Tip technology, broad test menu)
  • Economic (Active Tip technology, fast results, broad test panel)
  • Innovative new assays for the monitoring of new anticoagulants DOACs as well as antifibrinolytic drugs (eg tranexamic acid)

Assay menu

EX-test: rapid overview of extrinsic pathway of coagulation.

IN-test: Ready to use system reagent for the assessment of the intrinsic coagulation pathway, assessment of heparin, sensitive to factor VIII.

FIB-test: Detection of functional fibrinogen under dual platelet inhibition.

HI-test: IN-test with heparin neutralization to ascertain residual coagulation activity.

AP-test: Inhibition of fibrinolysis facilitating the detection of hyperfibrinolytic activity (in combination with EX-test).

ECA-test: Screening specific for direct thrombin antagonists (Dabigatran).

RVV-test: Screening test for DOACs (e.g., rivaroxaban, apixaban, edoxaban).

TPA-test (RUO): Activation of fibrinolysis for the detection of antifibrinolytic therapies.

NA-test (RUO): Ready to use system reagent for the detection of non-activated coagulation in citrated blood on the ClotPro system. CaCl2 recalcifies the sample.

Disposables

Cups & Pins: measurment cuvette

QC1: Level 1 control plasma approximating the normal range in whole blood.

QC2: Level 2 control plasma representing abnormal results in whole blood
