Training using Endoscopic Vein Harvesting with the Vasoview Hemopro 2 system

The first theoretical and practical training on lower limb graft harvesting using Endoscopic Vein Harvesting with the Vasoview Hemopro 2 system by Getinge/Maque was conducted last week at “Attikon” General Hospital.
Dr. Bojan Stević, Therapy Application Specialist CP, CS, CA. ACT CSEE from Getinge, Mr. Nikos Stinis, and Mr. Giorgos Kapetanis, Key Account Managers from the Cardiothoracic Department of Santair S.A., specialized in the use of Vasoview and Getinge’s cardiothoracic interventional products, conducted the theoretical training.
During the practical training, participating physicians had the opportunity to witness the functionality of Vasoview Hemopro 2, using it on a simulated leg model.
Vasoview Hemopro 2 provides solutions for cardiothoracic surgeons in graft harvesting for both obese and diabetic patients, offering a modern technique for endoscopic harvesting of saphenous veins and radial arteries. This opens new horizons for Greek cardiothoracic surgeons while providing unique benefits for patients.
We express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Dimitris Angouras, MD, PhD, FETCS, Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Athens, Director of the University Cardiothoracic Clinic at “Attikon” General Hospital, for the honorary invitation to present Vasoview Hemopro 2 at the hospital. We are particularly pleased with the high level of interest shown by participating physicians during the training
